Portlligat - Salvador Dalí House

Portlligat - Salvador Dalí House

Portlligat is one of the best known coves in Cadaqués, as it was the residence of the painter Salvador Dalí for much of his life, together with his wife Gala.

The artist was fascinated by the tranquility of this landscape, which offered him the necessary inspiration to carry out many of his artistic works, known worldwide.

Although, originally, this small construction was a fishermen's hut, today, the Dalí House Museum offers visitors the possibility of touring the different rooms of the artist's refuge, in addition to being able to contemplate several of his personal and artistic objects.

Visit this beautiful place, located less than 10 minutes by car from Hostal Vehí.

The lighthouse of Cala Nans can be seen from almost anywhere in Cadaqués. You can reach it by the coastal path that goes along the entire coast of the bay of Cadaqués.

It is an excursion to do with the family, in which you discover landscapes and places that are not seen from the village, such as the beach of Sa Sabolla, just before reaching the lighthouse.

Once you arrive at the lighthouse, you can enjoy one of the best views of the bay of Cadaqués.
